Global Skill Summit 2019 Jharkhand: In total 1,06,619 youths of Jharkhand were today given offer letter for jobs in the private sector at the Globla Skill Summit 2019 held in Ranchi, Jharkhand. The event organised by the state government had set the target of giving jobs to 1,00,000 youths.
A large number of skilled youth who received job offers and industry leaders, international representatives from 17 countries were also present at the Global Skill Summit 2019 in Jharkhand. Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Dharmendra Pradhan attended the Global Skill Summit 2019 held in Ranchi. Droupadi Murmu, Governor of Jharkhand, was the chief guest at the one-day Global Skill Summit 2019, which was also attended by Chief Minister Raghubar Das.
Pradhan said the initiatives and programmes have given fruits to people’s hardwork, adding that the state government deserved praise for its achievements in skilling its youth. He said that Jharkhand is poised to achieve more under the leadership of Raghubar Das.
Pradhan said that the state is a melting pot, with potential in a sectors such as manufacturing,tourism, qandservices, among others. The state has the potential to cater to the ever-growing demand for skilled manpower in the world, he said.
The Jharkhand government is empowering the youth by providing appropriate skills, making them future-ready. It will make young talent self-reliant, Das said. He praised the Skill Development ministry for providing opportunities for skill development and making available avenues for jobs to the youth.
