Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology have become an important area of study, due to its widespread use. Keeping this in mind, premier Indian higher educational institutions such as IIT Kharagpur, IIT-Madras, NIT Bhopal, NIT Silchar and IIIT-Kancheepuram have set up centres for Artificial Intelligence.
Most of the higher educational institutions such as IITs, NITs, IIITs, among others, offer various AI-related courses such as Deep Learning Foundations and Applications, Foundations of AI and Machine Learning, Reinforcement Learning, Probabilistic Reasoning in AI, predictive and prescriptive data analytics, Deep Learning, System Identification, Cyber-Physical Security, Digital Image Processing, etc, HRD Ministry said.
Besides that, some startups such as Udemy also offer AI courses in India. There are also online AI courses offered by various institutions, though quality being an issue, as this is a new field of study and do not have the adequate number of trained faculties.
The government statutes allow them to have academic and research collaboration with institutions and universities across the world in various fields.
Artificial intelligence is now used widely. From Google search engines, cooking, banking, learning, entertainment to washing machines, this technology is used everywhere. Artificial intelligence or AI is used in almost everything that uses modern technology. In marketing, banking and automobiles, this technology is used. The students or professionals may visit the official websites of IITs, NITs, IITs and other premier institutions for details.
