CLAT 2019: The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) online registrations has begun on the official website of Consortium of National Law Universities, Bengaluru. The last date for submission of the application form is March 31, 2019. The law entrance test will be held on May 12, according to information given on CLAT official website clatconsortiumofnlu.ac.in.
CLAT is the centralised test for undergradudate and postgraduate admissions to 21 National Law Universities in India. This year the entrance test will be conducted by National Law University, Orissa. CLAT 2019 will be held in various various test centres across the country.
Besides these 21 institutions, CLAT score is also used by 40 other law institutes.
CLAT 2019: Eligibility:
For UG and PG programme in CLAT 2019, there will be no age limit. The candidates have to score 45 percent marks or its equivalent and 40% marks or equivalent for SC/ST categories.
PG courses: LLB Degree with at least 55 percent marks or equivalent grade. Candidates belonging to SC/ST categories should have at least 50 percent marks.
The candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination in April/May 2019 are also eligible to apply.
Non-refundable application fee for General/OBC/PWD/NRI/PIO/OCI candidates is Rs 4,000, while SC/ST/BPL candidates have to pay Rs 3,500.
