The Ministry of HRD has launched Sabko Shiksha, Achhi Shiksha under the Samagra Shikha scheme for providing quality education and enhancing learning outcomes of students. In recent time the ministry has taken various initiative which include Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya or KGBV hostels for rural underprivileged girls and Padhe Bharat-Badhe Bharat initiative under Samagra Shiksha provide an annual library grant for primary to senior secondary level to help widen the learning ambit of students.
The government recently introduced Central Sector Interest Subsidy Scheme to assists weaker section students to avail interest subsidy. Besides that the government also launched the Study In India program to make India a preferred education destination for foreign students and improve the global ranking of Indian Institutes.
