IIM Calcutta placements 2019: IIM Calcutta 54th batch PGP program students get 100 percent placement. At least 123 recruiters from various sectors participated in the placement session and they made 501 jobs offers, against 441 students who participated in the recruitment session. Accenture was the largest recruiter this time with twenty four offers it made.
Firms such as The Boston Consulting Group, AT Kearney, Bain & Co., and McKinsey & Co made offers in double digits. EY-Parthenon, Alvarez & Marsal and PwC are the other consulting firms which participated in the process. Global financial services giants like Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAML), JP Morgan Chase, Goldman Sachs, Citi, Deutsche Bank and Avendus also made offers to the students.
Amazon, Microsoft, Uber, Udaan, Media.Net, Flipkart, and Salesforce were recruiters in the ecommerce sector. Mahindra, Wipro, Adani, Aditya Birla Group, Mondelez, Hindustan Unilever, Samsung, Coca Cola, Bajaj Auto, EXL, American Express and Cognizant also made offers.
The average CTC offered by the companies was 24.96 lakhs. The premier institute, however, has not disclosed the highest package offered to its students. Consulting and finance sectors made the maximum offers. They offered 29 percent and 21 percent, respectively.
