IIT-Delhi Placement 2018: The Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IIIT-D), this year registered a good placement session. M.Tech CSE and M.Tech CB registered a 100 percent. Placement record in B. Tech CSE, B.Tech ECE and M.Tech ECE were 94 percent, 89 percent and 84 percent placement, respectively. A BTech student was offered package Rs. 71, which is the highest offer this year. The campus hosted a total of 106 companies offering Full time and Internship roles.
The highest salary offered by Indian companies this season was Rs.40 Lakh for B. Tech and Rs. 22 Lacs for M.Tech, according to NDTV. Total 446 offers were made of which 235 were full-time job offers and 211 intern offers, it said.
IIT-Delhi is well known for its computer science and electronics discipline. The average salary package this year was Rs. 14.78 Lakhs. 150 companies offered CTC of around Rs. 10 Lakhs and 85 companies offered CTC between Rs. 6 Lacs and Rs. 10 lakhs. Qualcomm and Goldman Sachs emerged as the biggest recruiter for the 2018 graduating batch.
Dynamic Technology, Scry Analytics, Tower Research, Teradata, and Telstra were the big names in the IIT-Delhi placement session 2018, besides Companies like IBM Research, Adobe, Microsoft, Amazon, Myntra, Direct I, Math works, SanDisk, NXP Semiconductors, ST Micro Electronics continued as top recruiters.
IIIT-D internship offers also saw a surge, with the highest stipend ranked at Rs. 1 Lakh per month, the average stipend offered was at Rs. 25,000 per month, the report said.
Overall 211 internships were offered at the campus, among the 122 students were from the final year and 89 were pre-final year students.
