JEE Main result 2019: The National Testing Agency (NTA) today released the JEE Main 2019 results for January 2019 examinations. The candidates who appeared for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), can check their JEE score 2019 on The first JEE (Main) Examination was conducted by NTA between Januray 8 and 12, 2019, in two shifts in a day across 258 cities within the country and abroad.

About 9, 29,198 candidates were registered for Paper –I (B.E. /B. Tech.) examination. There were 467 examination centres across the country and abroad. For smooth and fair conduct of examination, there were 566 observers, 254 city-coordinators and 25 state coordinators at these centres . The Paper-I was conducted in 8 shifts from January 9 to January 12, 2019. The results of Paper- I have been declared today.

JEE Cut-off 2019:

Ranks of the candidates will be declared after the JEE MAIN APRIL-2019 Exam, taking into consideration better of the two NTA scores of the candidates who appeared in January 2019 and April 2019 examinations on For the first time, the candidates have the choice to appear for one or both the JEE exams for admission.

NTA JEE score 2019:

NTA JEE scores are based on relative performance of the candidates appeared for the examination in a session. The marks obtained are in the exams are converted into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each session of examinees.

NTA score indicates the percentage of candidates that have scored same or lower in that particular percentile in a particular session. The NTA score of the Total is NOT an aggregate or average of the NTA score of individual subject, a NTA statement said. NTA score is not the same as percentage of marks obtained, it said.

For the first time, JEE Main examination was conducted in CBT mode.

In order to make the examination system transparent and for the verification by examinees , the Question Paper and recorded responses were displayed on the official website. The keys of question papers were displayed in advance to invite challenges by the candidates to ensure accuracy and transparency of result and live CCTV Surveillance was carried out at the exam centres.

At the examination centres, jammers were installed to prevent unfair practice during the examination through mobile or any other electronic device. The online application for next JEE (Main) April-2019 Examination will start from February 8 and will continue till March 7, 2019. The candidates will be able to upload images and pay application fee up to March 8, 019.

The JEE (Main) April 2019 Examination will be conducted in CBT mode between April 6 and April 20 , 2019. Check here full candidates list:
