MBBS course at AIIMS: Know here fee structure, number of seats and more

MBBS course at AIIMS: The NEET 2018 is over now and the MBBS aspirants are waiting for their results, as ranking in the exam will determine their chances of getting admission in prestigious institutions. According to reports, the NEET 2018 result is likely to be announced by June 5, 2018. MBBS courses at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) campuses are the preferred choice among the aspirants, due to low fees and world-class infrastructure.

There are at present nine AIIMS campuses across the country where MBBS courses are provided. These are AIIMS-Delhi, AIIMS Bhopal, AIIMS Bhubaneswar, AIIMS Jodhpur, AIIMS Patna, AIIMS Raipur, AIIMS Rishikesh, AIIMS Nagpur, and AIIMS Guntur. Only students who rank high in the NEET exam get chance in these institutions. There are very limited number of seats in these AIIMS colleges. As of last year, there were 700 seats, with introduction of two new AIIMS in Guntur and Nagpur the number of seats too will go up this year.  The MBBS course at AIIMS commence in August.

There are 100 seats for Indian nationals and another 7 seats are reserved for foreign nationals. There are 50 seats for general category, 27 seats reserved for OBC, 15 seats reserved for SC and 8 seats reserved for ST.

6. Laboratory Fee Rs. 90 plus Electricity Charges Rs. 198
7. Students Union Fee Rs. 63 and Mess Security Rs. 500 (Refundable)
8. Hostel Security Rs. 1000 (Refundable)
