XLRI placement 2019: XLRI has released its final placement report for its 2017-19 batch of two-year Postgraduate Diploma in Management in Human Resource Management (HRM) and Business Management (BM). The institute has secured 100 percent placement for its 358-candidates-strong 2017-19 batch in 2 days.
In all, 104 recruiters participated in the placement session. Among them, 19 companies came for the first time to recruit at the institute. Domestic and international companies made 362 offers in the final recruitment process.
The average salaries offered was Rs 22.35 lakh per annum to its students, against Rs 20.1 lakh per annum offered in 2018. The highest package was Rs 50 Lakh per annum and the offer came from BFSI sector.
Microsoft, Amazon, P&G, Aditya Birla Group, ITC, Avendus Capital, Hindustan Unilever and Boston Consulting Group, among others, were the main recruiters. The highest number of offers were made by Boston Consulting Group.
The students were also offered 122 pre-placement offers or PPOs. Students were mainly offered roles in Consulting, Sales and Marketing, and BFSI. The highest number of offers came from Consulting sector firms, which is 21 percent of the offers. Sales & Marketing and BFSI came second and third in terms of number of offers made.
Public sector companies like ONGC, GAIL, and RECL also participated in the placement process. Adani Group, Jubilant Foodworks, Rivigo, Allianz Global Investors, Bain & Co, Experion, Belden, Xiaomi, Google, Udaan, amongst others, were first-time recruiters.
Besides that FMCG firs such as P&G, Hindustan Unilever, ITC, Colgate Palmolive, Asian Paints, Samsung, Philips, and Dr Reddy’s were also there.
